We are looking to hire an individual to handle day to day bookkeeping, billing, some job scheduling, and other administrative tasks.
The office is currently located in our heated and air conditioned shop, but as this position takes more permanency, an office will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain office supplies and equipment inventory - Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements - Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports - Financial tasks such as budgeting, invoicing, and accounts receivable - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions - General ledger accounting and financial report writing - Support the preparation of tax documents and ensure compliance with tax regulations - Provide administrative support to the team as needed -AR/AP -Manage accounts with material vendors -Payroll including retirement contributions and sometimes certified payroll Requirements:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (we're not moving to QB desktop or any other platform) - Knowledge of tax regulations and financial concepts - Experience with budgeting and financial management - Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) - Proficiency with AIA standard billing practices, certified payroll, and preferably CHRO - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively - Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask -Experience with trade and or construction accounting preferred Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and requirements.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
