MAIN FUNCTION:
Under the general supervision of a Cardiologist, and according to previously defined procedures, operates an echocardiogram machine to record cardiac functions.
In addition, performs transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms when needed.
Performs stress testing and stress echocardiography assessment when needed.
EDUCATION:
Two (2) year Allied health education program and/or Ultrasound Technology education program.
Experience:
Twelve (12) months of full-time clinical cardiac ultrasound experience.
