This position is a receptionist/unit coordinator position on an acute inpatient unit.
The nursing station where you will be working is an open nursing station where you will have frequent interaction with patients, families, and visitors.
Duties:
Medical records, copying, faxing, and filing, Work in the meditech system to assist with medical record duties, Patient billing (minimal) Answer phones, page MD's as well as other departments in the hospital, Must be comfortable working with behavioral health clients.
Will fill in as Patient Safety Monitor as needed
Experience:
Hospital experience, preferably in behavioral health environment.
Excellent organizational skills required, with strong computer skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
