Physician - ENT-Otolaryngology
An expanding non-profit, hospital-owned 160-bed acute care community hospital with more than 300 medical providers in southern Connecticut is adding an Otolaryngologist.
Opportunity Details
- Option to either join a thriving private practice or be employed by the hospital-owned practice
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck.
- This includes medical and surgical care for patients suffering from complications, illnesses, and injuries that affect these areas.
- Examine patients presenting with ENT, head, and neck-related issues.
- Diagnose and treat conditions such as ear infections, sinusitis, sleep disorders, allergies, and voice disorders.
- Perform surgical interventions when necessary, including but not limited to tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, myringotomies, and cochlear implantations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as audiologists and speech therapists, to plan treatment and follow-up.
- Educate patients on the preventative measures and treatment options related to ENT disorders.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of all patient interactions.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in the field of otolaryngology to provide the highest standard of care.
Financial Package
- Base salary plus incentive compensation based on productivity and quality measures
